Welcome back reader,
Today I finished all 3 tasks that were given to me by my teacher. For this reading task I worked on Pro. The options were Ace, Pro, Legend and Titan. We had 3 tasks and I didn’t do the tasks in order but I still did the tasks. I made the answers bold so that you know which are the answers. Anyways that’s all for now!

Task 2:
What Is Cultural Identity?
Have you ever wondered what makes you you? Your name, your family, the food you eat, the language you speak, and the traditions you celebrate—these are all part of something called cultural identity!
Cultural identity is like a big, colorful puzzle made up of different pieces that tell the story of where you come from and what makes you special.
What Makes Up Cultural Identity?
- Language – The words you use to talk to your family and friends. Some people speak more than one language!
- Food – The delicious meals you eat at home, like tacos, pasta, sushi, or samosas.
- Clothing – Special outfits people wear for celebrations or every day, like a kimono, a sari, or jeans and a t-shirt.
- Traditions & Holidays – Fun celebrations like Christmas, Diwali, Matariki, or Lunar New Year that bring families and communities together.
- Music & Dance – The songs you listen to and the dances you learn, like salsa, hip-hop, or ballet.
Why Is Cultural Identity Important?
Cultural identity helps us feel connected to our families and communities. It teaches us where we come from and gives us a sense of belonging. It’s also amazing to learn about other people’s cultures because it helps us understand and respect each other!
So, the next time you celebrate a holiday, eat your favorite meal, or hear a special story from your family, remember—you’re celebrating your cultural identity!
